Katharine G. Trostel received her Ph.D. in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
She is an Assistant Professor of English at Ursuline College.
Her research interests include 20th and 21st century Latin American literature (particularly the “post-68” period), women’s writing, memory and trauma studies, memorials and monuments, city spaces, haunting, and ruins.
She also serves as the coordinator of the Venice Ghetto Collaboration.
